How Prooflyt came to exist
New Delhi
A New Delhi law firm built on civil, criminal, corporate, IP and regulatory practice, with matters before the Delhi High Court, Punjab and Haryana High Court, and tribunals such as NCLT, NCLAT, DRT, RERA and GSTAT. Client engagements repeatedly showed the same gap: compliance was tracked in spreadsheets and emails, but not proven in a regulator-ready form.
Joint venture
Novation Legal partnered with Codewave Technologies to convert legal insight into product execution, pairing DPDP, GDPR, and regulatory understanding with engineering discipline to build software that supports evidence, not just dashboards.
The result is a metadata-first privacy operations platform that discovers personal data, executes rights workflows across connected systems, and generates immutable timestamped evidence for each compliance obligation.

Abhishek Saxena is the Managing Director of Novation Legal and the founder of Prooflyt. He holds an LLB from the University of Leeds and leads Novation Legal's civil, criminal, corporate and regulatory practice in New Delhi.
Prooflyt grew directly out of that legal practice. Repeated client advisory work showed businesses needed more than legal interpretations on paper; they needed a system that could produce compliance evidence by design. Prooflyt was built to close that gap.
